Restorative Justice Circle Immersion Workshop
This workshop introduces the restorative justice philosophy and practice of peacemaking circles.Peacemaking circles are used in education, juvenile justice, and community settings to address safety and disciplines in schools, provide organizational and community support, and facilitate check-ins and difficult conversations. These workshops are appropriate for educators, parents, youth, community members, juvenile justice practitioners, etc.
Team Building and Restorative Justice Workshops
This workshop focuses on team building for schools staffs, community partners, organizations members, and juvenile justice practitioners. The workshop includes icebreakers, kinesthetic activities and art projects using circle format throughout. The workshop goal is to help foster community building among participants and further familiarize them with circle process.
Peacemaking Circle Keeper Training
This experiential four-day training prepares individuals to facilitate conflict circles in the community, schools and juvenile court settings.
Coaching and Support to Circle Keepers Workshops
These workshops provide a space for trained circle keepers to share stories and experiences, support on another, and participate in peer-to-peer feedback and problem solving around challenges they face in keeping circles.
Circle Facilitation
In addition to training and technical support, CJYI staff facilitate peacemaking circles to promote healing, resolve conflicts and provide space for difficult conversations.
